What are the means of payment and the way to access MaPlace.ca?
For now, we only accept the major credit cards.
MaPlace.ca can be accessed using the Internet. A computer, a cellular telephone cellular or an apparatus that picks up wi-fi signals (PDA) can be utilized.
In a near future, we hope to establish a call center in order to better serve a wider range of customers and aid those who do not have Internet connection and are in need of parking.
Is the service reserved exclusively for the downtown area and near Metro Longueuil?
For the moment we’re focusing our operation in downtown Montreal and near Metro Longueuil. However we look forward to extending our operations to the whole district of Ville-Marie, to a part of the Plateau Mont-Royal and to the Trudeau airport area in the near future.
Why can't we reserve a parking spot in real-time?
Real-time reservation will be offer in the near future as soon as we put together the communications infrastructures needed for the task. This represents a priority as we want to offer the best service available in order to fit your needs.
What happens if the parking lot where I carried out my reservation is full?
Various parking lot owners have agreed to provide space for MaPlace customers. Therefore, it is most improbable that this situation will arise. However, if this circumstance should occur, please communicate with us immediately and we will find an alternative parking spot as soon as possible.
What are the refund and cancellation policies of a reservation?
If a customer wishes to cancel or modify his reservation, we will need to send an email at refund@maplace.ca in which he will indicates if it is a cancellation or a modification. This can only be done if the cancellation or the modification is done more than 24 hours before his reservation date and time.
If it’s a modification, after the email is sent by the customer to MaPlace, the customer will need to do another reservation within the system and MaPlace will remove the old reservation within the customer’s personal page.
For any cancellation or modification done by the customer more than 24 hours before the reservation date and time, Maplace will refund all except the fixed cancellation fee of a $1,50 (taxes included).
If cancellations are made within less than 24 hours before the reserved date and time, MaPlace will not be able to carry out any refunding.
Also, in the event of an unplanned cancellation, all cancellation and refunding policies must apply.
How long do I have to get to my reserved parking spot?
The reservation takes effect from the hour registered by the customer at the time of the reservation. All hasty arrivals will be treated at the discretion of the employees in place. MaPlace cannot guarantee a parking spot if the customer shows up before the hour registered by the customer.
The customers will be allowed a buffer zone of sixty (60) minutes exceeding the time of arrival he had committed to. MaPlace cannot guarantee a parking spot if the customer shows up more than an hour passed his registered time.
